100GB offer

Skinny Mobile’s 100GB offer was a weekend only incentive to encourage people to bring their number to Skinny. Since the offer could only be claimed on a weekend, we were given a digital media plan with video, richmedia and HTML banner assets required across popular New Zealand sites and social.

We pitched the creative idea of the offer being a party – the party being Skinny, and when you join the party you get 100GB at the door. As such, we brought the design to life by suggesting dancing characters (each being a character of 100GB) twisting a jumping with falling confetti. We also suggested in addition to the booked media social posts that could be scheduled over the weekend, and a simple page design for when customers land on their website so they can easily join.

To bring the characters of 100GB to life, in Blender I created 3D models & animated them. The footage was then exported to After Effects, where I added the confetti and door transition, text animation and call-to-action.

A example of some of the video content created. Audio of a drum and bass remix of the Skinny mnemonic was supplied. Video was also used in Richmedia banners, built in Google Web Designer.


Standard banners were built in Animate.
